新政府將於520正式上任，接卸任政府持續展開交接工作，為交接工作順利進行，民進黨總統當選人蔡英文與馬英九總統確定將於30日進行「馬蔡會」。
蔡英文辦公室今天(23日)下午發出新聞稿表示，有鑑於順利新一階段政府交接工作，並開啟朝野良性互動、團結國家，經與府方聯繫後，蔡英文將在30日與馬英九總統進行會晤，而相關工作細節，則由民進黨祕書長吳釗燮與總統府秘書長曾永權等幕僚團隊進行安排。
蔡英文辦公室指出，這項會晤是由民進黨秘書長、交接小組共同召集人吳釗燮在今天午間12時55分，致電總統府秘書長曾永權，就晤談目的和時間進行洽商；稍晚並經曾永權秘書長回覆，敲定會晤時間為3月30日上午，預計在這項會晤中，蔡英文將與馬總統就新一階段政府交接相關工作，進行意見交換。
